Celebrate Literacy Week is designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire our students and families to make reading part of their daily routines.

A Huge Thank You to Chad Fortson and Secured Roofing! 🏠⚾
We want to give a big shoutout to Chad Fortson with Secured Roofing for stepping up in a big way! After the hurricanes left us with massive roof damage at the MDHS baseball field dugouts, concession stand, and restrooms, Chad came to the rescue.
Not only did he handle the re-roofing and install new flashing, but he also donated the entire restoration! 🙌
We’re incredibly grateful to Chad and our amazing community for coming together to support MDHS and our students. Your generosity makes a lasting impact—thank you!

Congrats to Mrs. Albanese, our MDHS MVP of the Day! We are proud of the hard work she pours into our Art program.

MDHS recognizes Mrs. Rogers as our MVP of the day! Mrs. Rogers is recognized for always making sure that her students have access to experiences that connect history to today's world.

Lake County schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

More reason to celebrate! MDHS has achieved a 99% graduation rate. This is not only the highest in school history but #1 in LCS! We are proud of this accomplishment. #OneTeam!

Holiday cheer is abundant here at MDHS! Some have Elf on A Shelf... We have Cop on Top! and the Grinch.
