Please mark your calendars for Curriculum Night.
Curriculum Night is where teachers present and discuss the curriculum, educational goals, and learning expectations for the academic year. It provides an opportunity for parents to learn about what their children will be studying, get to know their teachers, and ask questions. The aim is to foster communication and collaboration between teachers and parents, helping to enhance student learning and support.
We are excited to share the news that breakfast and lunch will continue to be FREE this school year for students.

If you did not attend the car tag pick-up event, please stop by the MEDIA Center during your Meet the Teacher time frame to get your tags. Any apparel ordered by August 5th will be available in the front office for pick-up.
Don't forget, parents of Pre-K, VPK, Intensive Support students, Kindergarten, and students new to Pine Ridge will need to pre-register in the front office if planning to walk students to class on the first day of school(you will need a valid photo id.)
The Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday continues through Sunday, August 11. It is designed to help Florida families save money on essential items students need for the upcoming year. It includes items such as Up to $1,500 for personal computers, tablets electronic book readers, headphones and related accessories; school supplies selling for $50 or less, such as binders, notebooks, folders, markers and pencils; backpacks, clothing and footwear up to $100; and learning aids and related resources such as flashcards, interactive books and matching games selling for $30 or less.
We can't wait to see you tomorrow for car tag and pre-ordered apparel pick up. Come to the front office anytime between 1pm and 3pm. Please be sure to bring your identification.

Our ELC provides child care for students before & after school. Registration will open for the 24-25 school year on Monday July 22nd at 8:00 am. The registration link can be found on our school website at pre.lake.k12.fl.us. This link, along with additional information about ELC can be found by clicking on Explore then “How do I register for ELC?”

Please note that an increase in salaries, benefits, & operational costs has created a need for the ELC program to increase rates. These rates will go into effect when the students return to school in August.
The new registration fee & weekly tuition rates are as follows:
Registration : $30 per student (No additional registration fee is needed if the student attended the 2024 ELC Summer Camp)
School Year Weekly Tuition : Before School Only - $36; After School Only - $64; Before & After Care - $78
Summer Camp Weekly Tuition - $132
Discounts are available with proof of participation in an eligible assistance program. See ELC staff for details.

We encourage all students and staff to participate in Mindset Mondays and Spirit Wear Fridays which will be continuing for the 2024-2025 school year.

We are looking for new & gently used books and chapter books to grow our classroom libraries. If you are doing some summer cleaning and have some books to give away, Pine Ridge will happily accept the donations and get them into readers' hands.
