As we approach the end of the school year, it’s time to start preparing for Chromebook collection. In just a few weeks, all student-issued Chromebooks will need to be returned, cleaned, and checked in for the summer. We’re asking for your help to make this process smooth and efficient.
Here are a few important reminders to help you get ready:
✅ What to Do Before Turning in Your Chromebook
Remove all stickers, tape, and decorations: Please make sure your Chromebook is clean and free of all personal decorations before collection day. This includes any residue left behind—sticky surfaces slow down our check-in process and can cause long-term damage
.
Safe Cleaning Tip: Use a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface of the Chromebook. Avoid any harsh chemicals or spraying liquid directly onto the device.
Turn in your charger—both parts: Don’t forget to bring the entire charger set, including the charging brick and cord. Missing parts will result in a fine.
Charge your Chromebook to 100%: A fully charged device helps us inspect and process Chromebooks faster. Please plug it in the night before collection.
Turn in damaged or malfunctioning Chromebooks now: If your device isn’t working quite right—or has any visible damage—don’t wait until collection day! Bring it to your media specialist now so it can be repaired or replaced in time.
