Last week, Pine Ridge made a remarkable impression at the Lake County Science and Engineering Fair. Seventeen of our talented students showcased fourteen impressive projects to the judges, and we are thrilled to announce that five of our students earned awards! Our Bears achieved three second-place finishes and two third-place finishes. We take immense pride in the dedication and hard work that our students put into their science and engineering projects.

Attention 5th grade families: if your child is attending Gray Middle School next year mark your calendars for the Gator Expo in which they showcase current student work!
It is February 20th from 5:30-7:30pm.
Hi, Pine Ridge Families!
Please save the date for our spring picnic, which will be Wednesday, March 5th during students’ regularly scheduled lunch times. During the event, visitors will need to park in the side staff lot. Please use the link sent to your FOCUS email if you plan to attend. Pre-Registration will be open through February 26th. Those who have not RSVPd via the Google link will be asked to check in at the front office. Please make sure that you have your ID with you. We ask that you limit the number of guests in your party and remember that the event is open to PRE students only and their families, including children five and under. PRE will not be able to accept food deliveries on this date, although you may opt to bring food in.
If you plan to check your student out after the picnic, you may do so with the classroom teacher.
Our spring book fair will be open during the picnic and families are welcome to shop together in the Media Center.

We had a great week celebrating literacy on the Ridge!
What a magical evening it was as we celebrated our remarkable Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Desrosiers! The event was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation for the incredible impact she has on her students and our community.
This wonderful celebration was a night to remember. It was a true testament to the difference one passionate educator can make in the lives of so many!
